Give me a golden field at sunset and I’ll be in heaven. I was so excited to capture the Stangel family in this beautiful setting at Indian Lake State Park in Cross Plains, WI. There were so many little location vignettes for us to explore and to snap photos of little moments together as a family. We weren’t sure if the sun was going to peak through the clouds, but when it did … that golden glow was absolutely magical. Another dream family photoshoot here in Wisconsin that gets me excited for the fall every year!

One of my favorite things to do during a family session is to make sure I capture photos of every family dynamic — full family, mom + kids, dad + kids, and just the kids. It’s these little moments that typically end up being a lot of fun and we really get to see the kid’s personalities shine.
